FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Anduril Building One slated to be turned on August 1, 2026, as Knox Energy makes natural gas available to the facility.

Pickaway County, Ohio: A major milestone was achieved as Knox Energy Cooperative Association’s 12-inch HDPE distribution pipeline was successfully commissioned and placed into service on June 18, 2026, making natural gas available to Anduril and future developments within the project area. Now, Anduril Building One is scheduled to be turned on August 1, 2026.

Anduril Industries is a leading defense technology company specializing in autonomous systems, artificial intelligence, advanced surveillance technologies, and next-generation defense manufacturing. In January 2025, Anduril selected the Columbus, Ohio region for Arsenal-1, its first hyperscale manufacturing facility. This nearly $1 billion investment is expected to create more than 4,000 direct jobs, making it one of the most significant economic development projects in Ohio's history.

In June 2025, the Pickaway County Port Authority selected Utility Pipeline, Ltd./Knox Energy Cooperative Association to design, construct, own, and operate a 12-inch HDPE (high-density polyethylene) natural gas pipeline serving the Arsenal-1 campus. Knox Energy successfully completed and commissioned the pipeline in advance of the contractual June 23, 2026 deadline. Installation included 45,955 feet of 12-inch HDPE pipeline, 706 feet of 10-inch steel (railroad), and 1,976 feet of 8-inch HDPE pipeline.

The successful completion of this distribution line has delivered critical natural gas infrastructure to support Anduril’s development, and positions Knox Energy to continue serving future industrial and commercial end-users throughout the region.

About the company: Knox Energy Cooperative Association, under the management of Utility Pipeline, Ltd., has successfully brought multiple gas services to more than 23,000 residential and commercial customers throughout 38 counties in Ohio and 9 counties in Pennsylvania.
